It has been the promise of generations to give every UA child an exceptional education, and voting FOR the bond and levy this November is how we keep that promise. This issue ensures every child has the classrooms, resources, and support they need to learn and grow, while preserving the excellence that has long defined UA Schools.
Our building challenges at Hastings, Jones, and Burbank don’t get easier with time. UA can’t afford to wait.
A Great Foundation
Hastings, Jones, and Burbank classrooms were built for a different era. Every UA child deserves the same modern foundation this community has already given six other schools.
Doing Nothing Isn’t Free
Hastings, Jones, and Burbank are housed in buildings well beyond their useful life, and there is no zero cost option. Waiting won’t save money. It only guarantees we pay more later.
A Promise Made
In 2017, UA voters approved a plan to rebuild or renovate nine school buildings. Hastings, Jones, and Burbank were always meant to be next.
It’s Your Decision…
This November, UA voters decide whether to rebuild and renovate Hastings Middle School, Jones Middle School, and Burbank Early Childhood School. For the owner of a $500,000 home, this measure costs approximately $1,250 a year, based on the County Auditor’s data.
Waiting doesn’t lower that cost — it raises it. Without this investment, UA still faces $124 million in repairs just to keep these buildings running, with none of the upgrades this bond provides.
A vote FOR this bond and levy is a vote to ensure every child has the resources, spaces, and support they need to learn and grow, while protecting what makes UA Schools exceptional.
